Nicola Rossio Hotel enjoys a superb location right on Rossio Square, making it easy to explore the city on foot; many guests appreciate being so close to transportation and popular attractions. The rooms are generally comfortable, with some offering beautiful views of São Jorge Castle. While some found the rooms compact, especially those with internal-facing windows that can be a bit noisy in the morning, many were pleased to receive a welcome drink of Port wine and Pastel de Belém upon arrival, adding a special touch to their stay.

Excellent Stay at a Central Location

helpful teamperfect locationwelcome drinksuper clean hotel
The front desk team was helpful. They assisted with taxi arrangements and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The location was perfect, it was close to major attractions and transport links. I received a welcome drink of port wine and a delicious mini custard tart upon arrival (a very nice touch!). The cleanliness of the hotel impressed me. It was super clean throughout.
My room was a bit small, but it was manageable.

the location was acceptable , allowing me to walk to many sights.
Check-in took an hour , a situation i found less than amusing. the staff seemed more interested in explaining the city map to someone else than handing over my room key. my room was small . It felt more like a well-decorated closet than a room , and they tried to charge me again after i paid online.

mixed feelings about this stay

good locationsmall roomlimited selection
the location was good, being close to many attractions.
the room felt very small, there wasn't much space for luggage. the noise early in the morning was also disruptive because of staff activity. breakfast wasn't great, the sausages tasted like they came from a can, and the selection was limited.
